I've wanted to release something in a higher resolution for some time, and at long last, I've got something that I think justifies the change in format.

This is to be the first of a series of singles from a project I've been working on for some time, and despite several setbacks, I think the music has matured and developed beyond what I'd hoped. This track is a great example, as I originally conceived of it 5 years ago, and have demoed it more extensively than any other song in my catalog with the exception of "You Better", of which I've made at least 55 different versions. It's been tough, slow work, but I love these songs and the idiom enough to learn as much to make it right, and to maintain a certain standard, and whenever possible to raise that standard.

Which brings me to how I'm soliciting you.

The idea of setting your own price is aimed at taking your generous donations to help me fund more ambitious projects (like a touring cabaret-style show, future musical releases, and various filmed projects aimed at promoting both), while not restricting people from simply buying the tracks in superlative audio format.
